It’s time to bring your imagination to life in our 2026 Spring Showcase! Theme: Storybook Characters! Reimagine your favorite story, fairytale, or fable with an aerial twist! Must be minimum Level 2 on apparatus.

Audition/Performer Details:

  • Fee $15. Prepare a rough draft piece (2–4 min) showcasing your skills and song choice. You don’t need a finished routine, just a strong concept and movement quality.

  • If Accepted: Dress rehearsal fee $15 (covers food & space). Performer commitment fee $35 (supports show director, rehearsal rates, snacks, and studio costs).

  • Show Timeline: Rehearsal Fri, May 15 | 5:45–7:15pm. Show Sat, May 16 | 6:00pm.

  • Performer Requirements: 1 Character Development Workshop, 12 class series credits which is 1 series per month (or 4 privates per month), and 8 hours of open studio practice (2/month). These requirements ensure strength, endurance, and connection while creating your act. Audition with us!

Ready to represent Pura Vida in our biggest productions of the year? Open to advanced/Level 3+ performers.

Troupe Shows:

🎪 Carolina Circus Festival — Sept 12, 2026 (The Greatest Show)

🌙 Anniversary Theater Production “Reverie” —Date: TBD Jan–Mar 2027 (dreams, daydreams, nightmares & imagination).

Audition Fee: $20 Prepare: 2–4 min draft piece per show. Auditioning for both? Present both solos/duos. General auditions also available for Reverie ensemble placement (we’ll assign apparatus & group if accepted).

Per Show Requirements:

• 1 Character Development Workshop • 12 Class Series Credits (or 4 privates/month)

• 8 Open Studio Hours (2/month) Commitment Fee: $120 per show or $200 for both. Covers insurance, rehearsals, venue, food & more.

Dance Line auditions are open to dancers with previous dance experience who are ready to commit to a collaborative contemporary piece. Auditions will begin with a choreographed dance warm-up, followed by learning group choreography that all dancers will perform together at the end of auditions once it has been taught. No solos/duos at auditions this year.

Selected performers for the Reverie 2027 Dance Line will be notified following auditions (date TBD).

Dance Line Requirements:

• 2 rehearsals per month

•1 optional technique session per month

• Technique focuses on leaps, turns, limb engagement

• All rehearsals/technique sessions held Mon at 7:15 PM

• Required full choreography weekend: May 30–31 (entire routine learned)

• 1 required character development workshop Accepted performers must commit to all required hours. This process is designed for dancers ready to show up fully, grow together, and bring Reverie to life as a unified dance line on a professional stage!

Join our adult only audition designed to explore themes that go beyond our all-ages performances. This show is a space for explicit music, deeper emotional storytelling, and creative freedom. Sensuality is welcome if it feels authentic to you, but it is never required.

Audition Details: Audition fee: $15 Prepare a rough draft piece (2–4 minutes) showcasing your skills and song choice. Your routine does not need to be finished just a strong concept and movement quality are key.

If Accepted:

  • Dress rehearsal fee: $15 (covers food & space)

  • Performer commitment fee: $35 (supports show direction, rehearsal rates, snacks, and studio costs)

  • Show Timeline: Rehearsal: Fri, Oct 16 | 7:15–9:15pm Show: Sat, Oct 17 | 8:00pm

  • Performer Requirements: 1 Character Development Workshop 12 class series credits (1 series per month or 4 privates per month) 8 hours of open studio practice (2/month) These requirements ensure strength, endurance, and connection while creating your act. Audition with us.

It’s time to bring your imagination to life in our 2026 Halloween Showcase! Must be minimum Level 2 on apparatus. Theme of piece can be anything spooky, Halloween, moody, or whatever Halloween means to you that is family friendly.
